Animal tracking anyone?

Our February Hike of the Month will be held Saturday, February 21 at 10 am, at Kimball Pond Conservation Area. Meet at the Kimball Pond boat ramp on Kimball Pond Road. This is the second of the Conservation Commission’s 13 Wonders of Dunbarton hikes to commemorate the town’s 250th anniversary. Those who visit all 13 Wonders will be issued a special, limited edition 250th Anniversary Natural Wonder certificate.

This month’s hike features instruction from two world class animal trackers, Scott Semmens from Hopkinton High School and Kersey Lawrence from the University of Connecticut. Bring snow shoes. Dress for the weather. Car pooling is recommended as parking is limited. Information on the Kimball Pond Conservation Area may be found here.
